Title: Comfort
Fandom: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Pairing: Aang/Katara
Rating: G (both the art and the drabble)
Notes: This was me attempting to get into the whole OMG wonderfully epic and beautiful 'The One/Protectoress' relationship that Aang and Katara have.

Katara felt helpless.
She didn’t know what else to do but stay by Aang’s side and give him her bit of strength and her support. Both of which seemed so trivial to her; how could she comfort him, tell him everything would be okay, when she didn’t really understand the scope of it? They seemed to help Aang, though.
What Katara failed to realize was that it wasn’t her words that brought Aang back.
Notes: 'It' being the Avatar State, which I'm sure you guess. *G*
