“Katara, I just-”
“You don’t have to do these things on your own, you know! We’re a team, we’re suppose to stick together!”

“Gah!” Hands ran through long hair in frustration. “Sometimes I think boys don’t know how to listen! I just-”
“Katara!”
Katara paused in her ranting, frowning. Aang blinked at her before holding out a small, blue stone. It was attached to thread that was just a shade darker.
“What…” Katara trailed off as Aang looped it around her wrist, clasping it gently. He held her hand for a moment and stared at the bracelet in self-satisfaction before looking up, grinning.
“It wouldn’t have made much sense for you to come with me while I was getting your birthday present!”
