Aang rolled over, back arching slightly as he snuggled down into the blankets, sighing deeply. A moment later, he groaned and flipped over on his stomach, burying his face in the pillow. He stayed that way for seconds before rolling over and sitting up, frowning.
His bed mate stirred and opened his eyes. “Aang, what’s wrong?” Sokka asked, yawning. “Did you have a nightmare or something?”
“Nah. I just can’t get to sleep,” Aang said, glancing over at him and grinning sheepishly. “Didn’t mean to make you.”
Sokka sat up beside him and waved his concern away. “Don’t worry about it,” he said, curling one arm around Aang’s shoulders and pulling him close. “Want me to try and make you more comfortable?” he asked, pressing a kiss behind Aang’s ear.
Grin widening, Aang laughed and disappeared under the covers. Sokka smirked and followed.
