Notes: I just realized that, since I didn't mention names or gender specific pronouns, this could actually be Aang/Katara. HUH. OH, and I also realized that, at 81 words, this is the shortest thing I've ever written. *G*
The boat rocked back and forth gently; a constant, steady motion. The sun shone down brightly, hotly, and the boat’s two occupants lay together, just barely touching.
They were close enough, though, close enough that their fingers touched, skinning up and down the others’ arm. Close enough to knock knees, to squirm at playful elbow jabs.
Close enough to turn and meet each others’ eyes - endless gray and perfect blue - before shifting closer, lips just close enough to meet.
